Golf Course Superintendent

Description: Perry Country Club, also known as PCC, is a beautiful, 9-hole golf course and semi-private club located in a small town in central Texas.  The club has a long history and currently has 150 members that support the club through their dues.  The club has a large and small swimming pool, and a driving range along with outdoor stage area and patio with grill.  There are cart sheds and golf carts for rent.

Educational Requirements:  At least high school; education specific to this job would be a plus.

Experience Requirements:  Minimum of 2-3 years

Requirements:  The Superintendent would run the golf course.  Maintain all the grounds and other maintainable property around the clubhouse.  Be able to run the equipment necessary to mow the fairways and greens.  Some mechanical knowledge would be a plus. Be able to work with others and supervise employees when necessary.  Be able to maintain safety programs for all employees.  Must be able to have the stamina to stand on feet for lengthy periods of time.

Clubhouse Manager

Description: Perry Country Club, also known as PCC, is a beautiful, 9-hole golf course and semi-private club located in a small town in central Texas.  The clubhouse has a full kitchen, bar and meeting room and 150 cart sheds as well as 10 golf carts for rentals.  Finances and inventory are computerized, and all financial reports are handled off-site.

Educational Requirements:  Must be knowledgeable of licensing procedures of the Texas Alcoholic and Beverage Commission for all bar help.

Experience Requirements:  Minimum of 2-3 years

Requirements:  The Clubhouse Manager would run all the inside of the clubhouse.  Must be able to manage people as well as customers.  Be responsible for clubhouse staffing. Be able to stand on feet for lengthy periods of time.  Must be able to keep up with inventory, ordering concessions, calendar of events and beverages for the bar area as well as keep the clubhouse neat and clean.
